London is ahung with bunting and all things Jubileeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! And I, as the in house ex-pat, of course am embracing it all like a suburban housewife on too many Starbucks….
Its Fortnums and Peter Jones and M&S and Harvey Nichols and Selfridges and Old Bond Street and New Bond Street…..and even the Churchill Arms on Kensington Church Street.
I’m having far too much fun, and this is just the tip of the iceberg…more to come I promise!

Why don’t you….or rather why don’t we all?!! Make master bathroom vanities front to front instead of side by side like this one I recently spotted in Doris Day’s ‘Do Not Disturb’. Not that they look blissfully happy. Perhaps a two sided mirror would be just the thing for matrimonial harmony.

Not sure WHY we look so grumpy - perhaps its the rain…cuz there’s nothing I love more than Tim Burton, aaaaand Johnny Depp.
NOT to mention Mr Richard Zanuck who I finally meet with a thrill….legendary director in his own right BUT, shining son of that uber inspirer Darryl Zanuck whose film’s I still watch ipad in hand ready to capture long forgotten footage of decorative arts genius.
Not a ton of interior inspiration to be had in this particular film though Nicky and I were inspired by the very spectacular castle floor which Burton assured us does exist ‘in the real’ (as opposed to reel). Never mind - really I’m just posting this cuz its got Johnny Depp in it.
