Oh yes indeed, oh YES indeed!!!!!
London is ahung with bunting and all things Jubileeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! And I, as the in house ex-pat, of course am embracing it all like a suburban housewife on too many Starbucks….
Its Fortnums and Peter Jones and M&S and Harvey Nichols and Selfridges and Old Bond Street and New Bond Street…..and even the Churchill Arms on Kensington Church Street.
I’m having far too much fun, and this is just the tip of the iceberg…more to come I promise!

Why don’t you….or rather why don’t we all?!! Make master bathroom vanities front to front instead of side by side like this one I recently spotted in Doris Day’s ‘Do Not Disturb’. Not that they look blissfully happy. Perhaps a two sided mirror would be just the thing for matrimonial harmony.
Is it this time of year…..I’ve got my eye on it…..you?
And I’m always thinking of wearing it – my gold snakeskin knee-highs are legendary…….but at this time of year I rather fancy some gold coveralls. Did Oshkosh ever do these??
Hot in the 60′s…and hotter now.
And I cannot THINK why there are not more gold buildings….or at least buildings like Museo Soumaya that reflect the golden sunset.
In my hometown of Toronto our Royal Bank tower is la voile d’or of our skyline…a brilliant gem designed by our very own Webb/Zerafa/Menkes/Housden sils vous plais…
And you may have noticed the bed of golden straw we cradled our Faberge egg in…never enough golden straw in ones life I should think…
And while I’m carrying on about it…..Beata waltzes in to tell me she’s just been to Sven Harry in Sweden – where I suppose I must now head to!
Get thee on down to Rochester, Kent for the spring sweeps festival!!
Nicky and I did…..and it was a TON of fun.
